Here are some food to include in your diets that are sure to enhance good vision.

Green Vegetables: 
Eating as many leafy greens per day as possible lower the risk of developing macular degeneration and cataracts. Examples are spinach, broccoli and kale-are packed with lutein and zeaxanthin-antioxidants. They are known to prevent loss of vision.

Fish:
Cold-water fish such as salmon, tuna, sardines and mackerel are rich in omega-3 fatty acids which helps against cataracts.

Eggs: 
Egg contain protein that are beneficial to the lens of your eye. The yolk is a prime source of zinc.
 Start off your day with an egg to keep your vision on the track.

Blackcurrants:
It contains some of the highest levels of the antioxidant antho-cyanins found in nature. It is also rich in fatty acids.

Berries And Citrus Fruits: 
Orange, grapefruit, lemon and berries are high in vitamin C, which reduces the risk of cataracts and macular degeneration.

Tomatoes: 
Tomatoes are another source of vitamin C which protects and enhances vision. Thay are packed with caroteniods, including lycopene, which give tomatoes thier vibrant red color. Research shows that the lycopene present in ocular tissues helps prevent light-induced damage to the retina and other areasb of the eye.

Nuts: 
Almonds, cashews and peanuts contains omega-3s, just like fish though not as much. They help reduce dry eyes and eye disease as you age.

Carrot: 
Carrots area known to be high in vitamin A, a nutrient essential for good vision. Eating carrot will provide you with the right amount of vitamin A needed for good vision.
